Description

Krill is a generic term used to designate deepwater marine planktonic crustacean species. It looks like miniature shrimp, ranging between one and six centimeters in length. These 85 species represent the planets most abundant animal biomass. Specific to krill oil is an omegaphospholipid complex that is rich in eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Genestra Brand™ Krill Oil utilizes a unique encapsulating process - 2-piece hard shell which minimizes oxidation, limits odour and improves overall patient compliance. The manufacturing processes utilize nitrogen to purge the empty capsule - furthering krill oil preservation and reducing the risk of active migration.
