Rhodiola remains endangered because virtually the entire industry uses wildcrafted Rhodiola from China. However, Restorative Formulations is dedicated to ethical sourcing and sustainability, so we choose to invest in rhodiola grown at certified organic farms in Alaska and Alberta, Canada. We only harvest after three years of growth to concentrate the active compounds such as salidroside and rosavin. This time allows plants to concentrate these compounds naturally, so solvents are not required to achieve high potency.

In addition, there is no need to implement a heating process typically used for removing solvents; thereby, we are able to maintain higher levels of bioactive essential oils.
